Founder’s Story

Hello there. My name is Adrian, owner and founder of The Mystery Binding LLC. Ever since I was 6 I’ve loved books. I still have memories of my excitement whenever I would go to the library to check out the next book in the Goosebumps series, which is one of my favorite book series of all time. I remember reading at the classroom, on the bus, and even at home under my bed with a flashlight because it was way past my bedtime and I didn’t want mom to see I was reading. I still remember reading Stuart Little and my favorite book of all time, The Castle in the Attic, and being fascinated by the worlds I was being transported to with dragons, talking animals, and monsters. All throughout school books have been my escape from reality and even though nowadays I don’t read as often as I’d like because of, you know, adulting, it’s still my escape.

I began this business as a passion project this year because I want more people to experience what I have experienced all my life with books. The thrill, the mystery, the worlds, the characters that make up every single book is unique and it is my desire to fill as many hands with them as possible. Whether you prefer monsters and werewolves or breakups and heartbreaks there is always something for everyone out there.

As a lover of books and a soon-to-be published author myself I encourage everyone to go out of their way to try something new with our mystery box. Go for it. All you really have to lose is boredom right? And if you prefer to choose yourself I get it too. We all have our tastes and some of us like it just the way we want it.
